The student union government week popularly know as the SUG week
started yesterday in the better by far university at the school auditorium by
10am. Yesterday,been the first day,all students dressed in cooperate to suit
the rule of the first day,which says,coperate wears. The programme was The anchored
by comrade kamil,a 400L student of history and also the PRO at the SUG level.
Furthermore,as the
name connotes,the event was not only attended by the students but it was graced
by the school authorities. The dean of the STUDENT AFFAIRS was present in
person of Professor Abayomi omotesho and the sub dean,DR.A Yusuf. The school
bursar wasn't left out as well,Mr Biodun Saka Yusuf.
So many issues
were treated like the issue of dress codes and sexual harassment,money
matters,health issues,accommodation and students welfare. (A linguistic 100L
student named Wuraola faced her fears and ask the authorities, the reasons why
some students are always more favoured more than the other students when it
comes to the issue of accommodation.
"The Security personnel's need to be enlightened because most of
them don't know What's up about dress code " this was said by another
student to the chief security on d issue of dress code.
Some student showed
their talents in terms of songs. The popular singer of OGA TANKE
SIR,Tee-mirror. MGT(one of the winners in coke studio) and lots more.
The occasion
was also graced by #TEAM PRESSPlAY. pressplay is an NGO to create awareness in students about being
self employed after school and not be white collar job oriented. After the
awareness,questions were asked and students that got the answers correctly were
awarded with laptops, nokia android phones,and double function flash drive.
